Advancing the Future of Skilled Trades at Sachse Construction Academy

The Sachse Construction Academy is a one-day event where Detroit high school students gain hands-on experience in skilled trades at an active construction site. From using tools to learning from professionals, it’s your chance to explore careers and build your future in construction!

This fall, students will explore careers in skilled trades and urban development at Detroit PBS—an active construction site in Milwaukee Junction on October 15, 2026. Sachse Construction hosts the Academy in partnership with Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan, providing hands-on job-site experience.
